Technical Consultant – Bristol – SharePoint, PHP/.Net and Web based Solutions exp.
Salary £20-25k Dependant on Experience
I am currently recruiting for a Technology Consultant, with an innovative and outgoing personality. Ideally the chosen candidate will be a Graduate with a strong IT background and a hunger to develop outstanding programming skills as they develop into a valuable member of my client’s dynamic team.
The Role
Technology Consultants are involved at every stage of client projects, providing a full life-cycle service from identifying client needs and developing winning concepts right through to delivery of first-class solutions.
Projects in the technology service line typically involve:
* proactively eliciting, analysing and prioritising requirements
* creating and proposing innovative solutions
* creating demonstrator concepts for clients
* designing and developing the agreed solution according to industry best practice
* managing post-implementation disciplines in order to ensure that the target business case is achieved
The Person
The successful candidate will have an IT-related degree and a genuine interest in developing advanced, technology-driven solutions to commercial problems.
Understanding of concepts such as SaaS, enterprise 2.0, social computing and virtual team collaboration. Programming skills (eg. PHP, or .Net), experience of managing/developing SharePoint (WSS, MOSS 2007 or 2010) and a track record of developing IT solutions, preferably using web-based technologies would be highly advantageous.
