A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales and Management candidate, with a scientific background, to work with a global analytical science company
The Client
Established for over 50 years, our client are specialist providers of superior sample preparation equipment to analytical scientists on a global scale.
The Role
As General Manager, you will be responsible for the company�s European subsidiary, overseeing a team of 8 including 4 sales specialists. You will be handling all aspects of sales management, including handling key account visits, marketing and promotion, as well as budgeting and recruitment issues within the team. This role will also include business development through trade fairs and exhibitions, with an overall objective to increase sales revenue and productivity from within the team. Some European travel will be involved, as you will be working within the European market.
The Candidate
We are looking for a candidate who has:
� Several years of both sales and management sales experience
� A background in a relevant scientific sector
� Ideally, some knowledge of preparation and/or certified reference materials
