TECHNICAL ASSISTANT � Godmanchester - � neg
Technical Assistant. Technical Assistant required providing technical support at my clients Technology Development Centre.
Activities:
� Support Engineers in the development of new processes and measurement techniques including he running of Engineering/Process studies as requested
� Promote and personally maintain high levels of housekeeping
� Promote and follow safe working practices
� Accurate record keeping including processing of substrates, materials replenishment and equipment status
Requirements:
� Physics, chemistry or engineering graduate or experienced technician (approximately 2 years in a scientific environment) with HND or good A levels.
� Experience of working in a cleanroom environment is desirable
� Computer literacy is highly desirable as these will be used on a daily basis
� A motivated individual with strong initiative
� An ability to work unsupervised for long periods without losing touch with the aims of the team
� A calm and methodical approach to work during busy periods
� Ability to work on several batches of work simultaneously without loss of efficiency or productivity
� An ability to solve technical problems under one�s own initiative once trained, tempered with a willingness to seek expert assistance when required
� An ability to react quickly and appropriately to changing priorities and unexpected demands
� A willingness to liaise with external customers and suppliers on a regular basis
� Flexible attitude to working hours, shift work will be required
