The business was founded by Steve Rooney and began trading as Graduate Training Schemes.com ltd in 2001. Since 2003 the business has used Brampton Stafford as its trading name and has focussed exclusively on finding candidates for specific roles.

Today Brampton Stafford continues to be an internet led recruitment agency using cutting edge technologies to identify the best candidates throughout the UK.

Brampton Stafford’s consultants are encouraged to focus on their personal sector and they take pride in understanding their recruitment “desk”. The company began by focussing on graduate level positions but our ability to identify "hard to find" candidates coupled with an in-depth understanding of our customers resulted in assignments across a range of professional disciplines. We have therefore developed specialist Graduate, and Financial desks.

The sectors that we have chosen to specialise in are diverse but all the searches require a highly technical pre-requisite "skill" combined with an appreciation of the company culture.
