	Job Description EMC Storage Consultant Key Skills: EMC, HP, SAN, Unix, Windows, Backup and Replication. Lives: Watford Salary: Circa £40K - £60K dependent upon experience Our Client Our client provides IT Consultancy and Technical Support to the UK reseller market. The Role You will design and build EMC and HP storage solutions. This will combine pre-sales and project work. It will involve configuring monitoring tools and problem resolution. You will work directly with clients in a fast paced environment involving multiple projects. You will deliver technology road map proposals for storage hardware and Operating systems. You will also define cost effective Platform Solutions for each customer. The role involves working closely with multiple vendors including HP, EMC, SUN etc. You will also ensure that IT projects meet business requirements and have appropriate technical documentation. Requirements · Graduate with Team Leadership experience and excellent commercial acumen. · Previous Consultancy experience within a corporate / enterprise environment. · Storage implementation experience. · Thorough understanding of systems development life-cycle. · Knowledge of EMC and/or HP Storage hardware. · Experience with the build, configuration and support of a Unix and Windows infrastructure. · Experience of supporting and configuring Fibre SAN architectures and NAS primarily Windows. · Experience of supporting and configuring Backup infrastructure and EMC replication technologies.
